Is man-made global warming a scam?

Against the tide of propaganda about global warming, there have been a multitude of scientific papers published in 2007 that disprove global warming theories. Because that’s all they were, theories.

However, one of the most important events of the past year was the discovery of a legal battle against the movie ‘The Inconvenient Truth’, which took place in England. The judge in the case ruled against the film and ruled that in order for the film to be shown in schools, the Government must first amend its Guidance Notes for Teachers to make clear that

1.) The movie is a political work and promotes only one side of the plot.

2.) If teachers present the Film without making this clear, they may be in violation of section 406 of the Education Act of 1996 and guilty of political indoctrination.

3.) Eleven inaccuracies should be specifically brought to the attention of schoolchildren.

These are the inaccuracies:

1. The movie claims that the melting of snow on Mount Kilimanjaro is proof of global warming. The government expert was forced to admit that this is not correct.

2. The film suggests that evidence from ice cores shows that increased CO2 causes temperature increases for 650,000 years. The Court found the film to be misleading: during that period, CO2 increases lagged behind temperature increases by 800-2000 years.

3. The film uses emotional images from Hurricane Katrina and suggests that this has been caused by global warming. The government expert had to accept that “it was not possible” to attribute specific events to global warming.

4. The movie shows Lake Chad drying up and claims it was caused by global warming. The Government expert had to accept that this was not the case.

5. The film states that a study showed that polar bears had drowned due to the disappearance of Arctic ice. It turned out that Gore had misread the study: in fact, four polar bears drowned and this was due to a particularly violent storm.

6. The film threatens that global warming could prevent the Gulf Stream from throwing Europe into an ice age: Claimant’s evidence was that this was a scientific impossibility.

7. The film blames global warming for the loss of species, including the bleaching of coral reefs. The Government could not find any evidence to support this claim.

8. The movie suggests that the Greenland ice sheet could melt and cause a dangerous rise in sea level. The evidence is that Greenland will not melt for millennia.

9. The movie suggests that the Antarctic ice sheet is melting, the evidence is that it is actually increasing.

10. The film suggests that the sea level could rise 7 m causing the displacement of millions of people. In fact, the evidence is that sea level is expected to rise by about 40 centimeters over the next hundred years and that there is no such threat of mass migration.

11. The film claims that rising sea levels have led to the evacuation of certain Pacific islands to New Zealand. The Government cannot substantiate this and the Court observed that this appears to be a false claim.

If you thought this was bad, a former policy advisor to Margaret Thatcher found 35 mistakes in the film.

I did my research and concluded that, like many scientists, man is not the cause of the recent global warming trend, which stopped in 1998. The culprit is the sun. Most of the other planets in our solar system are also heating up. And it is possible that this winter was colder than the last; in fact, it is Canada’s coldest winter in 15 years. The water was so cold last year in the southern ocean that icebergs floated past New Zealand, which had not happened before. We may be heading for global cooling.

My point is that global warming and cooling is a natural cyclical event caused by the sun.
