The Myth and the Truth of the Race – Time for the Other Side of the Story

Sometimes what people perceive to be true is actually a myth, and a myth raises questions that cannot be answered, because they should never be asked. Religious people in particular have asked the question, “Where do black people come from?” And we can assume that a racist can ask the same question in a more negative context.

One idea that has come up comes from Genesis 4:15. After Cain killed Able, the Bible says that Cain felt insecure about life and God said, “Therefore whoever kills Cain will be punished seven times.” and “Jehovah put a mark on Cain, so that no one finding him would kill him.” Some have concluded that this “mark” was black skin. Others have said that Genesis 9:25; “Cursed be Canaan; servant of servants shall be to his brothers.” (This was a curse that Noah placed on Canaan because of his father Cam’s disrespect for him). It has been suggested that the people of Africa can trace their ancestry back to Ham, and the apparent conclusion is that the black race has been in slavery longer than any other race. in human history; therefore, it is concluded that this curse was carried on genetically in Ham’s offspring. However, this curse was placed on Canaan, not Ham. The descendants of Canaan were the Canaanites and they inhabited what is now modern Israel (Genesis 9:15-19). Now let’s look at the evidence against these two theories.

The question, “Where do blacks come from?” is not valid, based on scientific findings. In fact, the question should be: “Where do people with blue eyes and blond hair come from?” A question like this has an answer, because a question like this is not rooted in myth. Folks, this is an attempt to explain to you the genetic mutation that is white, blonde, and blue-eyed people. This is not a racial problem; it’s about bringing to light some facts that would make even a racist or perhaps a religious extremist uncomfortable. It is about the truth, and the question is not raised to foment any kind of hatred.

Scientists agree that the only race with an eye color other than brown is of Caucasian descent somewhere in their bloodline. According to new research, people with blue eyes have only one common ancestor. “Originally, we all had brown eyes,” says Hans Eiberg, from the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Copenhagen. A single individual caused not only the mutation of the blue-eyed people, but the mutation of the Caucasian race. A team of scientists tracked down the genetic mutation that they say occurred between six thousand and ten thousand years ago. They say the mutation affected the OCA2 gene, which is involved in the production of the pigment that gives color to our hair, skin and eyes called melanin. “A genetic mutation that affected the OCA2 gene in our chromosomes resulted in the creation of a ‘switch’ that literally ‘turned off’ the ability to produce brown eyes,” says Eiberg. The reduction of melanin in the iris of the eyes dilutes brown eyes to blue.

Eiberg and his team examined the DNA of mitochondria, the energy-producing structures of cells, from blue-eyed individuals in several different countries. Since the genetic material comes from women, it can trace maternal lineages. Segments of ancestral DNA are mixed over several generations, and individuals have variable sequences. The segments that have not rearranged are called haplotypes, and if a group of individuals share long haplotypes, this means that the sequence arose recently in our human ancestry.

“What they were able to show is that people who have blue eyes in Denmark, all the way to Jordan, all of these people have this same haplotype, they all have the exact same genetic changes that are linked to this mutation that causes blue eyes,” Hawks said. in a telephone interview. “From this we can conclude that all blue-eyed individuals are linked to the same ancestor,” Eiberg said. “Everyone has inherited the same switch in the exact same place in their DNA.” In the January third online issue of the journal Human Genetics, Eiberg and his colleagues detailed his study.

This genetic change somehow spread throughout the world, and the mystery still remains as to how we came from a time not long ago when everyone on Earth had brown eyes and (due to increased amounts of melanin in the body), they all had darker eyes. skin, to the present day where twenty to forty percent of the population have blue eyes, blonde hair, and lighter skin tone.

Isn’t it interesting that Adolf Hitler was under the impression that blue eyes, blond hair and white skin were attributes of the last race? This is an interesting question because scientists have found that people with lighter iris color have a higher prevalence of age-related macular degeneration (ARMD) and a higher risk of ARMD progression than those with lighter iris color. darker. There is also an increased risk of developing melanoma in people with blue or gray irises. The “weaker nations”, Hitler said, were those of “impure” or “mongrel” races. Well, what he considered the ultimate race descended from a genetic mutation no more than ten thousand years ago. If what Hitler says about weaker nations is true, then this surely wouldn’t apply to those of African descent, since they are purebloods. If what some religious people say about a genetic curse or mark on Cain is true, then this curse or mark would probably be white skin and lighter colored eyes, and certainly not black skin and brown eyes. , since People with black skin and brown eyes have always existed since humans walked the Earth.

This issue just addressed now may be a problem for some of you, but hopefully some of you who didn’t care before are beginning to. We all care about the truth, this is a certainty. If we don’t care about the truth and share the truth with others, then we are being selfish and should be responsible for the ignorance of those around us. There are two sides to every story, and we’ve heard the side that’s been used for years, now the other side has just been brought to you with scientific backing. We care about the kind of truth that is indisputable and not based on stories told by vicious dictators or religious extremists, this is a truth that can surely bring positive change to our world and is highly recommended to share it with others.
