Balla Powder Vs Fresh Balls

I recently received an email from a fan asking me about a fairly new product called “Fresh Balls”. I have heard of this product before but didn’t really pay attention to it because I knew that Balla Powder is the most superior product for keeping balls dry. But nonetheless, I decided to do a little research on the fresh balls research and see what all the fuss is about.

Fresh Balls is a deodorant cream that you should apply to your hand and then apply to the area that you would like to keep clean. This is all very well, but not the most pleasant experience if you want to use it to keep your back area clean and fresh. I don’t find applying that directly by hand to be a pleasant experience during your morning routine. So I think Balla Powder has definitely outdone cool balls in this area.

The next thing I looked at were the ingredients in Fresh Balls and compared them to the ingredients in Balla Powder. So here are the two ingredients side by side.

Balla powder ingredients: talc, zinc oxide, zinc stearate, fragrance.

Fresh Balls Ingredients: water (aquamarine), ethyl macadamiate, tapioca starch, carbomer, cococaprylate / caprate, polysorbate-60 (derived from plants), sodium hydroxymethylglycinate (natural preservative), hydroxyethyl acrylate / tetrapropyl dimethyl taurylene copolymer Tetrapropyl Sodium, Vena Sativa (Oat) Grain Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin (preservative derived from plants), Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil.

By comparing the ingredient list, you can see that Balla Powder is a very simple formula with ingredients that you can pronounce. The Fresh Balls ingredient list looks like an ingredient list from scientific experiments. The only saving grace on the ingredient list is that they have aloe in the mix. Aloe is never bad.

My general line of thinking is that if you can’t pronounce an ingredient, you shouldn’t be comfortable applying it to your testicles every morning. Very few cosmetic or bath products have been approved by the FDA and neither have our Balla Powder or Fresh Balls. But if I were to apply a product to the balls and gentital area, I would definitely use the one with ingredients that I can pronounce that have been used for centuries to keep people dry (talcum powder).

The next comparison between these two drying and deodorant products for men is the price. How much do Freach Balls and Balla Powder cost compared to each other?

Fresh Balls – $ 14.99 for 3 oz ($ 5 per oz)

Balla Powder – $ 14.99 for 3.5oz ($ 4.29 per oz)

So based on price, both fresh balls and balla powder are quite similar in price (balla powder is a bit cheaper per ounce).

But the net weight of the products can be deceiving. 3 oz of liquid will not last as long as 3.5 oz of powder. Considering that you will probably use less than a gram per use when applying Ball Powder, I can say quite confidently that you will get many more applications with a tube of Ball Powder over a tube of Fresh Balls.

The next comparison for these two men’s products is how they work to keep you dry. I will keep this comparison brief. I have used Ball Powder for years living in a hot and humid climate (Florida) and Ball Powder has never let me down. I am always dry and fresh all day. So I don’t need to try Fresh Balls.

On a side note, I will not apply any product to such an important part of my body (Balls) with ingredients that I cannot pronounce or spell. Since the FDA does not review or approve deodorant-based products, neither Fresh Balls nor Ball Powder has been reviewed or approved. So when choosing a product to keep my kids and butt dry and fresh all day, I chose the product that has simple natural ingredients and works perfectly.

Winner: Balla dust next to a landslide!
