How to make a funeral bunting flag

A half-fan flag pennant is a popular decoration for all patriotic holidays such as the 4th of July, Veterans Day, Memorial Day, and Election Day. With the colored strips, the intricate collection of folds and curves, bunting looks can be tricky. You need to use a proper pair of scissors and sewing machine and make this project possible. However, in the case of the funeral bunting flag, the process remains the same, only there are certain parameters that you need to follow to make such a bunting flag.

It is necessary to decide the width of the funeral pennant. This is the number on which the base of the dimension depends. For example, if you want 30 inches wide, then 30 should be the base number. Therefore, the width of the panel must be half the base number. 15 should be the width of the panel. On the other hand, the length of the panel should also be the same.

Fabric strips can be easily divided across the width of the panel. For example, if the width of the panel is approximately 15 inches wide, there will be five 3-inch-wide strips and that equals a 15-inch panel. You should also add an inch of seam allowance to each of the strips. So in this example, you can cut five strips that are 4 inches wide. All the color of the strips will summarize the sense of design.

Let all the strips lay out in a nice pattern and decide which way you can sew them. You can sew each of the strips to adjoining strips that will allow for at least a half-inch seam. Fold all sides of the resulting panel and then fold the edge under a quarter inch and then sew a seam along the fold that will join the edges.
