it’s about love

What a wonderful word and what a powerful emotion. So much can be expressed using that word. From the sublime to the profound, it can be extended to many uses.

I was rereading Napoleon Hill’s book “Think and Grow Rich” and found something about love that I would “love” to share with you. (Sorry I couldn’t help that.)

“If you think you are unlucky, because you have ‘Loved and Lost’, Perishes the thought. Who has truly loved, can never lose completely. Love is capricious and temperamental. Its nature is ephemeral and transitory. It comes when it pleases. and he leaves without warning. Accept it and enjoy it while it remains, but don’t waste time worrying about its departure. Worry will never bring it back.”

“Discard also the thought that love never comes but once. Love can come and go, countless times, but no two experiences of love affect us in the same way. There can be, and often is, only one love.” .experience that leaves a deeper impression on the heart than all others, but all experiences of love are beneficial, except for the person who becomes resentful and cynical when love makes its departure.”

“There should be no disappointment in love, and there would be if people understood the difference between the emotions of love and sex. The main difference is that love is spiritual, while sex is biological. There is no experience, that touches the human heart with a spiritual force, it can possibly be harmful, except through ignorance or jealousy.”

“Love is, without a doubt, the greatest experience in life.”

“Love is an emotion with many sides, shades and colors. The love one feels for parents or children is very different from the one one feels for one’s beloved. One is mixed with the emotion of sex, while the other is not.”

“The love that is felt in true friendship is not the same as that felt for the loved one, the parents or the children, but it is also a form of love.”

Those words were penned by Napoleon Hill nearly 100 years ago and whether you agree with them or not, they still hold power.

I don’t have much to add to those words, except perhaps to say that those who have been burned by love should not allow it to color their feelings toward love. Also, don’t let a bad love experience or having loved someone be what prevents you from reaching out to others in the future.

Also, life can sometimes be fleeting and fleeting and what has been given can be taken away seemingly without warning. Express your feelings to those who are close to you because you never know how long you will have to spend in their company.

Thank you.
