Logitech G27 Vs Logitech Driving Force GT

Logitech makes some excellent steering wheels. If you’re racing on the PS3 or PC, you probably have or have thought about purchasing one of their products. The two models offered today are the Logitech G27 and the Logitech Driving Force GT.

The Logitech Driving Force GT is generally paired with Gran Turismo games. It costs $ 149.00 and is a great, solid shuttlecock. The feel is plastic but the mechanisms are top-notch.

The Logitech G27 is the big brother. It has all the bells and whistles.

  1. 11 “leather steering wheel
  2. Adjustable pedals with clutch
  3. 6 Shift lever with push down back

The price of the Logitech G27 is $ 299.00. Is this version really worth it?

I think so. If you’re serious about gaming racing, the difference in experience is huge. If you really have a racing seat, the choice shouldn’t even be a question. The feel of the Logitech G27 is way above that of the Driving Force GT. It is almost like a toy versus something real. The wheel feels tight, the gears just click, and the pedals are literally from another world.

Did you know that you can adjust the travel of the pedals to your liking? This is an amazing feature for those who know how to climb and toe correctly. I loved the G27, it is the best mass production steering wheel system out there. Unless you want to spend a few thousand dollars, this is the system to go for. Try it. You can always return it if you don’t like it, but I bet you don’t.
