80s Costume – Robert Palmer Girls, Smokin ‘Hot From the 80s Smash Hit, "Simply ridiculous"!

You and your friends could make a very sexy entrance with this look from a cool 80s-era video. The Robert Palmer Girls were infamous thanks to two of Robert Palmer’s hit singles, “Addicted to Love” and “Simply Irresistible. “. In particular, the makeup is quite austere and it would also make an interesting Halloween costume idea.

So the actual Palmer Girls costume itself is very easy, and you can wear it as a singular person or as a group of girls.

All you need is:

– Bodycon mini dress, black

– Orange satin sash fitted around the waist as a belt (or just an orange belt)

– Black stockings

– Cure / black bombs

For hair, comb through a gel type product and fix in a low bun at the nape of the neck. Make sure to comb your bangs back into your bun.

Now, we have to work on makeup. Will need:

– Smoky eyeshadow – rubbed in from the eyelid outwards. Use on the lower eyelid and leave near the eye with the lightest colors. Otherwise, the dark shadow will make your eyes seem too close together.

– Light colored eyeshadow with white tones for the edge of the brows and inside the eye

– Smoky / black eyeliner, to rub under the eyelid and apply as a thick line on the upper eyelid

– Eyebrow pencil or tinted eyebrows, groomed

– Bright red lipstick

– Widely used pink blush along the cheekbone and up to the eye.
