Apocalypse Codes – Unlocking the Exodus Code

Many people do not know that the ancient scriptures reveal many of the end-time prophecies. Bible codes (also known as Torah codes) are defined as a set of encrypted messages or prophecies that are encoded within the Hebrew Text of the Torah. But these are not the codes I am referring to in this study. The codes I will refer to are the hidden messages behind some of the stories and writings of the Old Testament scriptures in the Exodus account.

We do not need a sophisticated computer to discover hidden biblical codes and messages. Our mind is far superior in reasoning than any computer that humanity can create.

So let’s review the plagues of Egypt in the book of Exodus to see if they reveal any clues about the types of judgments that will occur during the apocalypse.

The plagues of Egypt

Let’s go over a bit of history first to set the stage. Jacob, Abraham’s grandson had twelve sons; one of them is José. Joseph was favored by Jacob, as he was the son of his old age. When he was young, Joseph was sold into slavery to Egypt by his jealous brothers (Genesis 37:28).

Thanks to God’s blessings, Joseph eventually became second-in-command to Pharaoh of Egypt, and was able to save many lives during a great seven-year famine throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

After the death of Joseph, another Egyptian king would come to power who did not know Joseph. This pharaoh, who also feared the size of the Hebrew population, which had grown more than the Egyptian population during the last 400 years, subjected them to harsh slavery and servitude. Then God heard the cries of the people and remembered his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. So God decided to do something about it. As we will see in another chapter, God would choose Moses to free the captives from Egyptian slavery.

Below I list several of the plagues of Egypt, followed by passages in the book of Revelation, which is the last book in the Bible to prophesy about the apocalypse at the time of the end of this age. As you will see there are many similarities. Let’s start …

The plague of water turns to blood

In Exodus 7: 20-21 – the waters of the river turned to blood; killing all the fish in the area.

In Revelation 16: 3-4 – the second angel poured out his cup of judgment on the sea, and it turned into blood, and every fish also dies.

The plague of boils

In Exodus 9: 8-12 – the Egyptians were plagued with boils that burst like sores.

In Revelation 16: 2 – When the first angel pours out his bowl of judgment, a loathsome sore will afflict all who take the mark of the beast (the antichrist) and those who worship his image.

The plague of hail

In Exodus 9: 23-26 – the lord rained hail and fire mixed with hail on the land of Egypt. They were heavy hail stones that broke all the trees in the field.

On Revelation 8: 7 – The first angel sounded the trumpet and hail mixed with fire fell on the earth; and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

Note: As you can see by now, the judgments of the apocalypse will be exponentially more devastating than the plagues of Egypt, as these judgments will affect the entire earth. In the hail trials of the apocalypse, a third of all trees and green grass are burned. However, the type of judgment in this case is also exactly the same as that which occurred in the land of Egypt.

The plague of locusts

In Exodus 10: 13-15: Moses produced a plague of locusts that devoured much of the vegetation.

In Revelation 9: 3, the smoke from the locusts will come over the earth.

Plague of darkness

In Exodus 10: 22-23 – Moses stretched out his hand to heaven, and there was a dense darkness throughout the land of Egypt for three days.

In Revelation 16:10 – the fifth angel poured out his cup and the kingdom of the beast was filled with darkness; and they bit their tongues because of the pain.

Plague of death

In Exodus 12: 29-30 – Jehovah struck down every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh to the firstborn of all Egyptians; there was no house where there was not a dead person.

On Revelation 9:18 – In just three plagues, a third of humanity died.

Just as many died in the last plague of Egypt, many more will die during the apocalypse. Revelation 9:18 indicates that 1/3 of humanity will perish from just three of the plagues.

In Exodus there are numerous accounts that Pharaoh’s heart was hardened so that he refuses to repent of not allowing the Jewish people to go to serve God.

In Revelation 16: 9 we also see that despite a series of judgments throughout the earth, the inhabitants of the earth will refuse to repent and will in fact blame and curse God for their afflictions.

Just as the famine in the land of Egypt (during the reign of Joseph) lasted seven years, the tribulation period (apocalypse) at the time of the end will also last seven years.

The messages behind the exodus from Egypt

We can also unlock the following lessons from the Exodus account:

– No matter how close the Lord approaches mankind to repent and be freed from the bondage of sin, Satan, like Pharaoh, will not easily release his dominion over the souls of all those who are under the bondage of sin. .

– Despite all that the Israelites did for Egypt during their captivity there, such as building their cities and saving Egypt from a seven-year famine, they were eventually persecuted by Pharaoh; just like the Jews they have been persecuted throughout history.

– Just as God rescued the Hebrews from the bondage of slavery in Egypt, God will intervene once again during the apocalypse to destroy those who try to destroy His people and His Land. We can read this in Ezekiel 38: 14-23.

As the Bible clearly reveals and history clearly confirms, there is no doubt that history repeats itself. Just as Hitler and the Nazi party mixed Catholic beliefs with the occult, the coming Antichrist is believed to do exactly the same. The Germans almost worshiped Hitler, just as the world will worship the antichrist at the time the end (Revelation 13: 8)

Like the ten plagues of Egypt, the judgments of the coming apocalypse are not designed to punish as much as they are individual opportunities for repentance.

It is not difficult to unlock many other messages hidden within the word. God can open your eyes and your mind so that you can discover the special messages of God hidden in His word, just for you. As His children, God wants to communicate with each of us, and He has a special message or messages hidden in His word just for you and me.

Whether we choose to believe in Him or not, God has stored special messages in each of our minds for us to unlock and share with others. We were all created with our own unique set of messages and prophecies to discover and then share with our neighbors. No one else can share that message better than you. It is our choice to unlock them or not!

So in closing, we have reviewed just one example of how end-time prophecies are hidden in the ancient apocalypse codes; in this case in the Old Testament book of Exodus.

As you can see, the similarities to the plagues of Egypt in the book of Exodus are strikingly similar to the prophesied plagues of the coming apocalypse (book of Revelation). God, being faithful to His word, has revealed to us that just as at the beginning, so it will be in the time of the end. Just as it was in the time of Noah, so it will be in the time of the end (Matthew 24:37).
