Billiards clothing: billiards players seem to like clothing with billiards images and phrases

Billiards apparel is sure to be found at any major billiards tournament or billiards trade show. You will find many t-shirts with drawings and sayings of pool and billiards. Hats and visors are also quite a popular item. Coats and jackets with some cool pictures and sayings will also be found at these events.

I picked up some of my first pool apparel in Las Vegas (BCA Tournament) in the early 90’s. I bought a five dollar raffle ticket and won a $300 pool apparel shopping spree. This was great because one of my friends had just bought 4 five dollar tickets and I said you only need one and sure enough I won the raffle.

The following year, my girlfriend at the time bought a ticket from the same vendors while I was playing pool in a singles match. Sure enough, we win again. (What are the odds of that lol) We picked out some great jackets on this one and put them on so we didn’t have to lug them around.

We went to the table where my friend was playing a game and he looked up and asked: What about the jackets? Then he said, didn’t you win that thing again, Jack? I just smiled and said yes. He then proceeded to take about 10 tickets out of his pocket, throw them on the ground and stomp on them.

Winning these two draws in a row was great. He set me up $600 worth of pool clothes for $10. She had shirts, jackets, hats, and a few miscellaneous items. billiard accessories

I buy a couple of shirts in Vegas every year. They have the year of the tournament, they state that the tournament was at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and they say North American 8 Ball Championship. I am wearing one right now as I write this article.

The other common places to find pool clothing are pool magazines like Inside Pool or Billiards Digest. You’ll also find a great selection on eBay if you’re looking for billiards. Type pool clothing into Google and you’ll find plenty of articles too.

If you play pool in your local leagues, you may want to ask the owner of the tavern that sponsors your team about getting jackets, jerseys, or both. I have 4 jackets that I won at APA tournaments in our area and a jacket that was given to me by the owner of the pool hall where we play the league. (Jim’s Diamond)

I have more jerseys from the various leagues I’ve played in than I can count. If you’re as into the game as I am, it can be cool to wear clothes that say. However, a word of warning. If you’re looking to play for some money, having a jersey that talks about an 8-ball championship can spoil your action.
