Girls’ hairy thighs are a big turn off

The hair on the upper legs is generally finer than the hair that grows on the lower legs, and the inner thigh skin is often more sensitive skin than the lower calves and legs. This means that the waxing process can be similar to how you know it, but there are some important differences that you can’t afford to ignore.

1. Shaving Upper Thighs – Shaving the inner thigh can leave some unwanted effects. The hair that was shaved with the razor (which probably had a smooth hair texture) will grow back in a few days as new stumps, thicker than the shaved hair. Because of the sensitive area, where the jeans are tighter to the legs, the rough feeling can be very annoying. You can expect some red bumps and a rash after shaving, and the thighs will become reddish and sore.

2. Inner Thighs Waxing: Waxing leaves skin smoother than shaving and smoother for longer. The main thing to keep in mind before waxing the upper leg is that the thighs are very close to the genitals and sexual organs. Burns can occur when hot wax is placed on the legs. Be especially careful on the inner thighs where the skin is most sensitive.

3. Hair removal creams for thighs – Hair removal creams are strong chemicals that dissolve the hair itself; they can cause an allergic reaction, especially on the sensitive upper thighs. The best advice would be to buy a depilatory that is safe for pubic hair, read product labels to find one that says it is safe to use on the “bikini” area or genitals.

4. Upper Thigh Epilators: Epilator machines epilate hair in groups. You should know that the pain is surprisingly less in the upper inner thigh because the hair is thinner and easier to remove. Waxing can cause hairs to grow inwards, while hairs stick together, some may break inside the follicle. Do not try to use the epilator on gentle skin, it is too soft, and the skin will also be painfully pulled, which will not allow hair to be pulled out.

5. Electrolysis Hair Removal for Thighs: Electrolysis is when an electrical current is delivered to the root of the hair, killing it. Since each hair must be treated at the same time, electrolysis is a very time consuming procedure, usually done for small specific hair removal. For example, electrolysis for the armpits can take hours! Therefore, electrolysis on the inner thighs will require several sessions, which means a very expensive side effect. One important thing to say is that electrolysis is the true permanent hair removal procedure.

6. Thigh Laser Hair Removal: Thigh laser hair removal is probably the most suitable hair removal solution for many. Laser treatment can be performed on larger areas of skin, faster than electrolysis, less painful than epilators, and more permanent than waxing. It can be a little painful because the skin is sensitive as you go up the thigh to the genitals. Laser removal treatments are safe, but they cost a few hundred dollars per session, and in some cases, maintenance sessions are needed every year or so.

So take the time to examine which of the removal methods is best for you, do you have extra money for laser or electrolysis, can you take the pain of epilators? Can you risk waxing that close to the bikini line? Maybe shaving every other day is the best way for you after all.
