Super Mario 3D World Review

Diverse, creative and fun.

The game initially looks like an ordinary Mario game. You walk from level to level through a world map, and after beating the final boss in the castle, a new world opens up again. In terms of your world of work, first disconnect from the usual: start in a grassy landscape, continue the crazy adventure in the desert, and then go straight back to the ice world. Fortunately, Super Mario 3D World contains some decent original worlds, of which the final Bowser Land is our favourite, but even the calibrated grassy landscape will surprise the seasoned Mario player with a selection of original levels.

The numerous playable levels are, in fact, very diverse, often very creative, and almost always fun to play. Exactly as we know from the Galaxy range. One moment you’re stuck in a brilliant shadow game full of optical illusions, the next you’ll be working on a continuous sprint with scattered coins. The levels are all varied and really have a unique identity. Of course, there are some less exciting levels in the game, for example, something brave riding on the back of a Plessie dragon, but the vast majority of the climbing and fighting courses are of great class.

Mario, Luigi, Toad and Peach…

The multiplayer Super Mario 3D World contains the three usual characters: Mario, Luigi, and Toad, a fourth hero. Or rather heroin. None other than Princess Peach is stepping into one of the playable characters. This time she isn’t even the princess in distress, instead she joins them with Mario, Luigi and Toad to fight to free Bowser’s hellish grip.

That’s partly due to the many items and power-ups that can be found in its levels: a portable and ravenous piranha plant to the cherries item to double your character right away. Cat power-up is one of the most notable additions and brings with it some new features. A Cat Mario can reach new levels of locations by climbing walls or stinging. For purple rocks around with their claws Naturally, the most perfect enemies are no match for the sharp claws of cats.

Power-ups and items are not only very handy for completing a level alive, but are sometimes essential to collect all the items collected. In most levels there are three green stars to collect, some of which are usually very well hidden. To find a star you will have to bite, for example, an electrical barrier with a piranha plant or burst a well-concealed double wall with a pistol headdress. Continuous vigilance, because green stars can be found everywhere. And the true collector, who wants them all obviously hauling.

Competitive character above cooperative mercy

Collecting stars offers an added dimension when playing with more than one person. Stars deliver because lots of points and that’s exactly what competitive and cooperative multiplayer is all about. Expect an intense battle of stars and other valuable collectibles if you play Super Mario 3D World with one or more players. Although they may choose to clean each other up to work together and grant some opportunities, practice shows that competitive nature often prevails over cooperative mercy.

Super Mario 3D World is an extremely accessible game. For example, some levels are only hard when you’re trying to collect. All collectible items. Of course, the game also features many spicy levels, which even the most experienced players have a rocky start. For less talented players, a chance at success to offer makes the white Tanooki ignite their re-entry. After a few unlucky tries, this buoy will appear in the level and turn Mario into a near-immortal powerhouse. Picking up this item is, of course, entirely optional.

As multiplayer is played, in most cases, fun is guaranteed. With emphasis on “in most cases”. Some levels in Super Mario 3D World are less than adequate due to hectic multiplayer violence and soon degenerate into a nasty mess. This is partly because the camera is usually the fastest and most brutal player it follows, allowing slower players and collectors to not watch out for themselves regularly. One annoying blemish on it so far, so clean Super Mario 3D World crest.

If you’re one of the slow players or careful collectors on the hectic outside of the pot: don’t worry. Even watching and listening or playing bacon and beans has been a pleasurable experience. Super Mario 3D World is a beautifully designed game and harnessed the power of the exceptional Wii U. Additionally, the colorful and uplifting images are often enlivened with a brilliant selection of melodies. But regardless of the wealth of listening and viewing pleasure, it’s above all the unbridled fun that gets this new Mario adventure top marks.

conclusion
Super Mario 3D World is full of dynamic, creative and diverse levels that we have just made into the Galaxy games and knows how to implement it in the style of Super Mario 3D Land. Flawlessly The result is a fantastic platformer that’s not only delightful, but also a delight to the eyes and ears. The multiplayer is called efficiently handled as some sessions sometimes culminate in a lovely little chaos.
