The new Honda Jazz 2014

Japanese manufacturer Honda has presented a boon to its Pakistani consumers. Skyrocketing prices are a common pain for citizens of the country, but Honda’s launch of the new City Jazz, 2014 (also called the Honda Fit in the Japanese market) may serve as a relief. Honda has now introduced its low capacity gasoline engine technology by recently introducing the 1.5 liter 4 cylinder direct injection gasoline engine. Not only that, the new 2014 models will also have a VGT (Variable Geometry Turbocharger) version of the 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engine, a naming format that Honda uses for its newly manufactured engines, thus reaching a whole new set of consumers. . .

With an advantage in appearance, the new model has shown significant changes in styling from older generations of Honda Jazz. Its new engine puts out 100 hp, an increase of 17 hp compared to the previous design, helping Honda cover a benchmark of 0-100 km / h in just 11.8 seconds (for the manual version), leading to a 1.6 second improvement.

The new City has beaten its predecessor with better materials, improved looks, and reliable functionality. The extension provided offers more space around the log cabin, along with a new seating arrangement that provides comfort for both the passenger and the driver. It also features electronically operated windows and exterior mirrors, a suitable manual air conditioning system and a sound system with USB connectivity.

The 2014 Honda City has other new advancements, including new alloy tires, front grille, LED running lights, and slightly different headlights from the previous model.

The launch of the vehicle in Japan in September 2013 received approximately 62,000 reservations within a month and a half, which amounts to about 2,000 reservations in one day. Honda hopes to reach all segments of its consumers with the requirements of individual, family and young drivers in mind.

According to various announcements, the new 2014 Honda City Jazz will be launched in neighboring India on November 25, 2013. Unofficial sources reported that the vehicle could be launched in Pakistan in mid-2015.
