Use an iridology eye chart to decode your iris!

In my experience, iridology is a very precise screening tool used to discover conditions in the body that might need a doctor’s assistance. Using an iridology eye chart, which shows which parts of the iris correlate with which parts of the body, you can decode patterns in the eye to signal internal problems. Although more general than specific, an iridologist might notice a dark spot over the lungs. This could refer to an infection or a tumor, but you won’t know until you see a doctor. The wonderful thing about iridology is that it can be used as often as you like and you can catch a disease or illness before it gets worse!

How does the eye store information?

Since the eye is directly connected to the brain, nerves, and all the tissues in your body, it constantly receives and stores valuable information that could provide insights into our current health status. Comparing the iris to a computer screen would be pretty accurate, and all you need is an eye chart to decipher the codes found here.

What types of health problems can the eye reveal?

Some more specific things the eye can tell you is if you have a dairy allergy, low metabolism, or are under a lot of stress. It even contains information about your genetic predispositions for cancer, heart disease, and much more. Remember, iridology can’t tell you if you have a weak thyroid or a thyroid growth, but if you’re not aware of your tendencies, iridology can point you in the right direction by pinpointing certain areas of the body that are having trouble! Learning more about your body is very enriching and can also be a lot of fun.

How does an iridology eye chart work?

An Iridology eye chart is configured into zones or sections that correlate to certain areas of the body. This is similar to an acupressure chart, which you may be more familiar with. Iridologists are trained to read patterns that appear as dark spaces, streaks, white dots, arcs, and rings in the iris. A dark space can mean dying or scar tissue in the part of the body that your zone corresponds to. If you have no idea what this could mean, you can make an appointment with your doctor and ask for a diagnosis. A very common problem found in women is ovarian cysts, for example. Dark markers over the ovaries may mean there is a benign cyst growing there that needs to be removed.

Is there such a thing as autoiridology?

Autoiridology is fun to practice at home and can be a great conversation starter if you bring your iridology kit to parties. Everyone wants a turn to get their eye looked at! Of course, the more experienced you are, the more accurate you will be… which is why visiting a professional iridologist first, before attempting to evaluate your own eye, is the best option. There are iridologists who do inexpensive online readings if you can get a clear enough image of your iris. If you choose to photograph your eye, remember to turn off the flash first!
