If you’re planning a trip to Thailand, then you’ll need to know where to apply for a Thai visa. Thankfully, there are a few different options available. For short-term tourists, a short-term visa is available right at the airport. Applicants must present relevant documents and a return flight ticket to qualify for the visa.

If you’re planning a long-stay in Thailand, you’ll probably want to apply for a Thailand visa in advance. This way, you can be sure that you’re not caught out by any last-minute changes in immigration rules. If you’re unsure of what the exact rules are, it’s best to check with the Thai Immigration Authority or your local immigration office. You’ll also want to ensure that you have enough money to support yourself while you’re in Thailand. Usually, you’ll need at least 20,000 Baht per person. If you’re a U.S. citizen, you’ll need a Thai visa in order to visit Thailand. This visa is valid for 90 days and requires you to visit the country at least once. You can extend your stay up to 30 days twice, but it won’t be longer than 90 days. In addition to the visa, you must provide a Yellow Fever certificate or proof of health insurance coverage. The application can take up to two days, so it’s best to plan your travel accordingly.
