A complete review of the ZBang website

General description

Zbang.it is a new free platform that simplifies and integrates a large number of platforms and programs ranging from social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter to remote online cloud storage services like Zoho and Google Docs. In addition, it allows multiple response methods for the integration of different platforms. This means that when the user receives an email on Yahoo, they can decide whether to reply on Facebook, Gmail, or Twitter, without having to navigate to that particular website.

The document, music and video transfer app allows users to send the files in mail attachments and on desktop to send to other mail inboxes or upload to remote cloud storage services like Drop.io or Google Docs.

The points (+)

Easy to use without complications

The general window and icons are very easy to use and anyone with basic mail and Internet knowledge can easily use the program. Also, the video tour on the Zbang website is very helpful in understanding the basics of the software for navigation and usage.

Small electronic footprint means high portability and scalability

Thanks to Zbang’s small metadata (electronic fingerprint) size, one can store all the links on the desktop or even on a USB flash drive/pen drive, making the application truly portable.

Points

No SMS integration yet

If you travel a lot and do not have a cell phone with packet data support, then this software is not for you as it does not have SMS support as of now. Although Zbang plans to introduce it soon, there is no confirmed date announced for the same.

It is not compatible with Orkut, Google+ and other websites.

Although the creators of Zbang have done a commendable job creating such a platform, it is still in a very nascent stage and only supports Facebook and Twitter at the moment.

summarizing

Overall, Zbang is a truly innovative and revolutionary platform and the best part is that it’s free. The first to integrate so many platforms into one simplified, easy-to-use app; there are still small problems that need to be solved. Although on a scale of 1 to 5 I would easily give it a 4.7.

So next time you need to upload a file to Google Docs or chat with another on Facebook, don’t waste time flipping through all the web pages, just ZBANG IT!
